A Sighted Guide Service for the benefit of people with little or no sight is in operation. A team of volunteers will provide this service to anyone with a visual impairment, in and around the town centre of Barnstaple.

The long term hire of manual wheelchairs for weekends and holidays is also available. There is a £25 refundable deposit, and a hire fee of £3 per day. Two forms of identification are required when booking.
